1. A brief overview / description of what your product or service is.

Event Framework goal is to provide standardization and easy integration between several software vendors in the event industry- in order to solve the current chaos of integration processes between different vendors that causes expenses and robustness issues. Also a key benefit is the protection of delegates data to better comply with the Data regulations and business needs of PCOs.

2. How your product / service will meet customer's requirements, fulfil a need or solve a problem

Today the integration process between the different technology vendors that serves a specific event is almost a nightmare. the PCO has no knowledge to support such a process and the vendors are not excited to do it as it's an effort that is done again and again , as different events uses different solutions for registration and such.

3. What is unique or innovative about your product?

Event Server which is the implementation of the Event Framework , allows the different vendors to make a single integration with the server and from that point on they are automatically integrated to all the other software vendors around the world (the ones that did that integration as well , of course).

4. What impact does your product have, or aim to have, on meeting professionals and the meetings/events industry?

It solves the complications of data sharing between the different applications that serves the event , providing the end users (both PCO and Attendees) with a more accurate and updated data
it also saves a lot of investment and cost as there is no longer a need for those endless integrations.
and last but not least, it protects the most important asset of the PCO , the Attendee list which is no longer needed to be shared amongst the different vendors.

5. Please provide an outline of the product/service development so far, and how successful this has been:

The framework and server were released to Private Beta to a selected amount of major software vendors of the events industry it will be released during EIBTM 2011.

6. Please give an indication of pricing for using the technology product/service. Be specific as possible(e.g the pricing for an example event with xxx attendees.)

Currently it's FREE and we are seeking sponsorships in order to develop this into a consortium and keep it as an open standard for the benefit of the industry.

7. What research have you carried out to establish that there is a need for your product or service?

We’ve done numerous discussions with PCO’s and Software vendors from the events industry , which boiled to the same point that there needs to be a scalable solution to easily integrate all the different offerings such as Registration tool, Networking Platform, Iphone Application etc. allowing them to easily talk without the need to re-develop connectors again and again.

8. What do you see as being the next stages in the product/service development?

Release the First public version during EIBTM allowing all the vendors that are interested, and all the PCO that would like to use it, to do so.
