Bizzabo is an early stage Israeli startup with a mission to unleash and maximize the true potential of networking during events. We make networking at events easier. Bizzabo is a location-based mobile app that helps event attendees make the professional connections they really want to make. On the event organizer side, Bizzabo is an event mobile app builder, a real-time communication channel with attendees and above all - a new and meaningful revenue stream.
2. How your product / service will meet customer's requirements, fulfil a need or solve a problem
Business opportunities are missed on a daily basis at conferences, trade-shows, corporate meetings and social gatherings. Bizzabo’s solution is a mobile platform for business networking which transforms a frustrating, ineffective experience into a seamless and efficient process in which you no longer stumble upon opportunities – you find them. Imagine LinkedIn but in real-time, location based and tailored for the business event you are attending.
Event goers deserve a service that will increase their 'attendance ROI' – a virtual personal assistant to help them locate and keep up with new business connections. Bizzabo was created to make that happen.
3. What is unique or innovative about your product?
For event organizers, Bizzabo's website is a self-service event mobile app builder that maximizes organizers' efficiency and effectiveness of events throughout their lifetime:
Before the event – All the organizer needs to do is to enter his event details (imported from Eventbrite, Meetup.com etc.), insert content (agenda, map, speakers) and invite sponsors and nearby businesses to post 'Groupon-style' offers and perks. Organizers can now enjoy a branded mobile platform and start generating revenues. Bizzabo integrates well with popular event registration services and social networks (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) to leverage current platforms and maximize adaptation.
During the event – the organizer can control event social media, send updates and interact in real-time with their participants.
After the event – organizers are able to measure the success of their events by viewing smart and intuitive event analytic reports and maintain relationships with attendees for updates and future events.
4. What impact does your product have, or aim to have, on meeting professionals and the meetings/events industry?
Creating a mobile app for your event takes weeks (sometimes months) of preparations and is a very high cost for a one-off solution. Bizzabo is not only cutting edge (mobile, social, location-based) but also provides organizers with a revenue generating ecosystem based on paid offers from sponsors, exhibitors and nearby businesses. Bizzabo is a long lasting communication channel with attendees. A single app for all of your events.
5. Please provide an outline of the product/service development so far, and how successful this has been:
iPhone & Android platforms are already working. Event organizer web self-service will go live by the end of September. The service was tested in dozens of events and brought top-notch event companies to discuss their solution. In addition, the service won 1st place in the prestigious TechAviv conference in Israel.

7. What research have you carried out to establish that there is a need for your product or service?
Alpha version was tested in over 20 events. Private beta version was tested in 25 meetups and conferences. In total, more than 1500 attendees have successfully used Bizzabo for networking.
8. What do you see as being the next stages in the product/service development?
Event analytics - realtime and pre-event. HTML5 client to enable the use in all major mobile platforms.
