By train

Spanish Rail

Trains run every half hour from Barcelona Airport from the Renfe (Spanish Rail) stations at Sants to the city centre (Journey time approx 19 minutes).

Metro

Metro lines L6, L7 and L8 also stop near to the venue.

The nearest stop to the Gran Via exhibition site is the station “Europa/Fira”. This is directly linked to Montjuïc. All routes that leave or enter the “Plaça Espanya” FGC station stop at “Europa/Fira”.

By road

Car

The estimated journey time from Bracelona city centre to the airport is about 20 minutes.

The C-31 Barcelona-Castelldefels road leads to Barcelona Airport and connects with the C-32 Barcelona-Sitges road. From the Avinguda Diagonal, the Ronda de Dalt and Ronda Litoral ring roads also connect with the C-31. 

Barcelona has a large number of car parks for cars, many of them located in the city centre. 

Taxi

Barcelona also has a fleet of 11,000 taxis which can be easily identified by their yellow and black livery (a green light on top of the taxi indicates availability).

By bus

Aerobus

There is an Express Aerobus return service linking Barcelona airport to the city centre. This service normally runs between 6 and 15 minutes within its fixed hours of operation.

You can catch the Aerobus from outside both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The Aerobus will then take you to the city centre where you can alight either at Placa Espanya or Placa de Catalunya.

Bus (TMB)

The metropolitan transport of Barcelona (TMB) also run buses during the day from both Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 2 (T2).

Route 46 runs from Pl. d’Espanya to Barcelona Airport (T1 and T2).

Night Bus (NitBus)

If you wish to transfer from Barcelona Airport to the city centre during the night you can catch the Night bus N17 operated by MOHN which runs every 20 minutes.

All of these bus lines allow access to the Montjuïc venue from any part of the city of Barcelona.

The regular number 79 metropolitan bus also links Gran Via to Montjuïc and other areas of Barcelona.

All airport shuttle buses depart from the central bus station, Hall 4. Services run daily, every 15 minutes between the following times:
