EIBTM Sustainable Initiatives

EIBTM has achieved third party certification for the Sustainable Event standard BS8901 (future ISO 20121) and is committed to continually improving and developing processes to ensure we become as sustainable as possible. Join in on our sustainable initiatives and start making a difference!

Our Objectives

- Contribute to environmental preservation - measure and set annual reductions in water, energy, emission, waste and transport

- Involve stakeholders by briefing EIBTM's involvement with BS8901 and the standards expected from them in order to comply

- Educate stakeholders through awareness communications and interactive onsite initiatives

- Maximise ways to benefit and work with local charities to deliver a positive impact on the community of Barcelona

- Actively source sustainable suppliers and product wherever possible

- Monitor and measure the ongoing economic benefits of EIBTM to local businesses and the economy.
